我想"第四代香港人"是指"八十後"或"九十後"吧?

其實不大明白"第四代香港人"所指. 從字面看, 由一歲至九十歲都有. 劉皇發肯定不止第四代了!

because the title of your article suggests that you are representing the whole generation to address all hk people (literally)being a part of it, also an addressee of your letter, i would like to ask you to clarify a few points concerning your letter.

firstly, what is the relation between Nietzsche's eternal return or eternal recurrence and the repetition of an event which is interpreted by the authors as similar to what happened 30 years ago? Are you using this word literally only, or are you referring to Nietzche's thought as your quote suggests? To me this is a contradiction, the eternal return is always an affirmation of a repetition, but what you suggest is precisely a negation, so today in the case you raised what shall we affirm?

secondly, you attempt to explain this political event in terms of colonial logic and de-colonial technique, and this is confusing to me, since on one hand you think there is a colonial logic existing in the government which is repeating what happened 30 years ago, on the other hand, you are saying that the government is attempting to de-colonize the city by removing the colonial buildings. and this deduction is problematic, since firstly the colonial logic is not able to explain our situation today, as it is already contradicted in the above argument. secondly the fight, which i believe many people of our generation would like to participate, is not a fight in the name of symbols(either colonial or postcolonial), but a fight of life and death.

by saying this, i am not criticizing the motivation or effort, instead I response with appreciation, but as a matter of fact, I think a letter under such title, has to be more coherently and thoughtfully constructed.

凱文，拙文正想提出廣深港高鐵與京九鐵路的關係，以我暫時手上的文獻所知，廣深港與京九鐵路關係非比尋常。至於廣深港何以不能在1997年通車而在2007年才宣佈興建，倒是值得深研。如認為廣深港是京九以外的另一計劃，可否提出證據力證﹖

另一個錯誤

「廣深港高鐵屬京九鐵路的南段」的陳述有誤。1984年提出的京九鐵路，早於1996年便已全線通車，鐵路於香港的一段正是使用了現時的東鐵線。而近年提出的廣深港高鐵則是另一個計劃。雖然日後高鐵列車技術上可以從香港經高鐵軌道往北京，但這與1984年提出的京九鐵路毫無關係（當然不排除日後會中央將廣深港高鐵聯同其他高鐵軌道合併為「京九高鐵」，但至今仍未有這個構思）。

城大調查

總之，簡單一句，幾百億的鐵路興建在即，至今居然有一半人不知情。到底發生什麼事。
