I think that the discussion about 'nation-states' and 'nationalism' may move to there rather than staying here. I have made it clear that I believe in a 'nation-less' world (not just a globalised one) there.

Let people discuss about the situation in Iran and the unfortunate case of this brave, but poor girl here, I guess it is better, if you all don't mind.

同樣，這個世界沒有那個民族的人對生活在同一片土地上的其他人從沒有犯過罪，如奴役、謀殺、掠奪等等。歐洲人如是、亞洲人如是、非洲人如是，美洲人也如是…。國家（nation state）作為一個近代的政治體制，它的出現更加是建立在導致人民大規模死亡的為爭奪土地、劃分國界、建立國族身份的戰爭之上的。如果覺得國家制度或民族身份對人民沒有好處，就應該倡議消滅國家這個制度，放棄民族的身份，而不是評論那個國家應該消失，那個國家可以存在。要知道，一些讓本國人生活得較好的國家是通過掠奪他人的土地、資源和生命來讓「自己人」活得好一點的。殖民主義不就是那麼一回事嗎？

I am rather an anti-nationalist, I suppose many people know. But then, I wouldn't say that any ONE particular country should disappear, but only to hope that there will not be any countries in the future. A world without the artificial, man-made cruel boundaries, how wonderful!!!

Yes, Iran wasn't like that before and many people don't like its current government. If that means this country should be gone, it applies to China also. Hurray!!!

I am trying to forward this link to a lady living in the States who was from Iran and hope that she can spread this message further. When problems are too big to solve, maybe we really need to look at the tiny incidents first......

國家民族有乜用

我們不應該把一些問題轉移到統治者的身上，伊朗統治者係有問題，但今次女性係法律上得不到公平，係源於國家或民族對女性的看法，係國家或民族整體輕視女性，當然政府也應有帶頭糾正的角色。

國家與民族（宗教也一樣），不能穿，不能喝，它必須為人民服務才有存在價值。說是應該「消失」太刺耳，但說「沒有用兼戕害人民」就是真確。

這與我過去說「一些歧視同性戀的教派有必要檢視其存在價值」說法一貫。我們可以認為宗教帶來的 peace of mind 有用，但一些教派係性向價值卻是 trouble maker，我不可以以尊重多元社會為借口，令女性或一些性向受到屈辱的對待，這根本有違尊重多元。

係咪應該將一個國家的統治者/政權同一個國家分開呢?

有些國家本質就是垃圾，只會折磨自己的人民。

向安南抗爭也沒有用，因為聯合國，這些垃圾國家才得以與其他正常的國家平等交住，甚至在聯合國制度下，台灣比起伊朗也不如。
