香港獨立媒體 - Comments for "縱論 P2P 下載"

唱片商的心底原因

可能是因為 RIAA 與 P2P 界的官司已經持續了很久，在外國 (尤期是美國) 很容易看到別人批評唱片公司以反 P2P 為名打壓網上傳播，想繼續現今對創作人的剝削，延續其暴利。但是在香港，卻因為多個原因，市民不易察覺唱片公司的目的：
1. 大部份 P2P 使用者的心態本是為了廉宜，自己沒有專重創作人
2. 沒有受到版權的教育
3. 全盤接受唱片公司的宣傳，不經思索就將自己標籤為犯罪者
4. 外國的 P2P 官司在香港傳媒及網上均不受重視

只要細心想想，就會發現以上的四點各自是另一點的因或果，關係複雜。要解決是十分困難的，但我覺得由教育入手是最好的方法，詳細見上文第一點。

網上d/l消費的興起，不代表購買CD(或DVD)會被完全取締，只會局部取代。
但明顯是多開一扇門。
當今互聯網的資訊儲存量，已大大超越圖書館，
但傳統圖書館的生存空間不會消失。
思考兄文章一個極有見地之處，
是指出了香港的既有版權製度下的利益者，即是那堆CD工業的東西，
抱殘擁缺，阻住地球轉，
打着因保護創作而設的智產旗號，去桎梏創作的發展(或作品的傳播)。
同時，又指出香港消費者的問題。
生產者和消費者都眼光狹小，只為短線(甚至是即時)利益，
本來可以普及化的一種文化DIY工業就發展不起來。

其實最直接、最方便的表達意見的方法就是文字，以文章表達意見。但上述活動居然沒有了這媒介，實在太過著重巧花了吧？

125 年?!?!?

這實在太過份了吧，我不認為唱片公司為一首音樂所作的付出值得他們賺這麼久。很多外國網已經不滿歌手所分得的收入太少，如果唱片公司將再進一步以一些名曲來賺百多年的錢一定會引來很大的不滿。多謝你的資料提供呢，想不到與我提出唱片公司的第二道理由吻合。

Things are a little bit different in Hong Kong as people simply disregard of intellectual properties in general, they would get pirated copies to lower the cost, download mp3 and so on, thinking that they are legitimate as they think the record industry cost them too much, as a result, iTune store didn't work in HK yet as the industry doesn't want to suffer another blow to their profit as they think.

重新分配利益

新資訊年代的快速來臨已經迫使業界不懂如何回應，只管一味要求政府大力打壓和禁制，而沒有決策者能夠像原文作者的分析和視野。結果，可能是封閉資訊管道，也可能是知識產權的利益重新分配。新聞透視提到新力公司正在密鑼緊鼓推出直銷管道，如果這是大勢所趨，則新一波產業革命也已悄悄開始，香港這一群發行商也不能悻免。

對創作者而言...

在總結還應加上對創作者的看法呢。網上有人視數碼媒介為對創作者的解放，令創作者可自由交換訊息，在沒有發行商限制下買賣作品。究竟對於創作者來說，P2P 是神還是惡魔？就要看他們怎樣去面對了。
