「孔梁巧玲傑出人文學者」成立典禮暨首航講座：「當我在桌前坐下──龍應台談文學啟蒙」
香港大學藉「孔慶熒及梁巧玲慈善基金」之慷慨捐贈，成立「孔梁巧玲傑出人文學者」計劃，旨在支持傑出人文學者駐校教學、研究和創作，推動大學的人文發展。作家龍應台是首位「孔梁巧玲傑出人文學者」。港大將於十月十八日（星期六）舉行「孔梁巧玲傑出人文學者」成立典禮暨首航講座，題為「當我在桌前坐下──龍應台談文學啟蒙」。

香港大學柏立基學院為龍應台教授設立寫作室，從事創作研究。今次講座將首次剖白她的寫作啟蒙心路，她如何游走於英文和漢語、白話與文言之間。她也將以一個歷史的高度來探索，在台灣戒嚴期壓抑的環境中成長的知識份子，如何取得文學養分，走過文學啟蒙。

Hung Leung Hau Ling Distinguished Fellow in Humanities
Inaugural Ceremony-cum-Lecture
The University of Hong Kong celebrates the inauguration of the “Hung Leung Hau Ling Distinguished Fellow in Humanities” scheme, which was made possible through the generous support of the Hung Hing Ying and Leung Hau Ling Charitable Foundation. The first incumbent of this scheme is Professor Lung Ying-tai, a renowned essayist and cultural critic.
The Inaugural Ceremony and Lecture will be held on October 18, 2008 at 5:00 pm in Rayson Huang Theatre. The lecture, entitled “Lung Ying-tai on Her Literary Path”, is conducted in Putonghua. Online registration will start on 7 October, 9am.
About the speaker:
Professor Lung Ying-tai is a celebrated essayist and cultural critic who has published over 20 titles in Chinese. Her essays in other languages have appeared in European newspapers such as the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. As the Cultural Minister of Taipei from 1999 to 2003, she designed and implemented a visionary concept of cultural policy, making great impact on contemporary culture in Taiwan and Greater China. Lung Yingtai is one of the most influential writers in the global Chinese language world. She joined the Journalism and Media Studies Centre in August of 2004, and was appointed Hung Leung Hau Ling Distinguished Fellow in Humanities, hosted by Robert Black College in August 2008.
