Job Posting: Human Rights in China

Leading human rights NGO Human Rights in China (HRIC) seeks an Office Manager for our Hong Kong office.  Candidate must be committed to HRIC’s mission and interested in working in a friendly, high-energy, collaborative trilingual NGO that insists on the highest professional and public-interest standards.  Candidate must be detail-oriented, cooperative, experienced, mature and independent, comfortable handling multiple tasks.  Candidate also must be fluent in both English and Chinese.  The Office Manager will be responsible for managing the administrative, financial, and human resources affairs of the organization.
The Office Manager will undertake the administrative, human resources and financial issues supporting the overall information, communication, education and advocacy programs and reports directly to the Hong Kong Director.  S/He will manage the substantive work, including managing bookkeeping and finances, handling office furnishings, equipment and technical issues, insuring the smooth functioning of a fast-paced office.
Qualifications: BA or equivalent; 3 years of administrative office experience; familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Access, Excel and QuickBooks.  Chinese language skills and fluent spoken and written English is a must.
