為種族歧視條例有效立法祈禱會+大遊行
《種族歧視條例草案》在2006年12月1日刊憲，並將會在2006年12月13日提交立法會。可是，條例草案的內容中有各種例外情況，令條例可保障的範圍收窄，因此我們期望能有一條有效的法例，保障少數族裔群體及所有香港市民。這並不單只是各少數族裔爭取他們應有的權益的事，更是香港人爭取一個真正理想及共融的機會。
為向政府表達各界對種族平等的盼望及對為種族歧視條例有效立法的訴求，我們誠邀閣下參與以下的祈禱會及大遊行：
日期：12月17日（星期日）
下午2時至5時
2:00pm: 於愛丁堡廣場集合
(中環大會堂對開)
(地鐵出口: 中環站J3 或 香港站A2)
2:30pm: 遊行至立法會及政府總部
4:00pm: 於政府總部門外舉行祈禱會
出席嘉賓: 各宗教領袖/教長及立法會議員

Prayer & March for an effective race law
The Race Discrimination Bill has been published in the Gazette on 1st December 2006, and will be introduced to the Legislative Council on 13th December 2006. However, exemptions for certain policies and aspects will definitely narrow down the scope of protection of the Bill, and we want a more proper and effective law in order to protect ethnic minorities and local community in Hong Kong.
This is not only an event the ethic minority to fight for their own rights but also Hong Kong people for a harmony and inclusively society.
In order to urge the government to enact an effective law for anti-racial discrimination, we cordially invite you to join our Prayer March.
