從人民電台的留言中得知城中名人開始搞blog叫某某平台, 雖然對名人學子沒有多大想像, 仍覺得對於推廣blog的文化來說也是一摏好事, 不過一看到它們的 "服務條款及版權條款" 時, 就不禁皺眉.
在blogger的文化裡, 一直強調網絡串聯的關係, 透過links, 推介, 創造一個互相支持的言論空間, 所以大部份的blogger都會支持creative common的版權, 就是歡迎非商業性的轉載, 只要不要扭曲原意和定明出處. 圍繞著blog所發展的RSS的目的就是要幫助文章的擴散.
可是某某平台卻多次強調網站的內容屬網站的產權:
"閣下同意不得為了任何公共或商業目的複製、重製、拷貝、銷售、轉售或以任何其他方式利用本網站所提供之所有或部分服務／內容..."
另外, 國外blogger的網站根本不會限定使用者的年齡, 只要你能寫能說, 便能開blog, 但某某卻要求:
"閣下若未滿十八歲而又希望可以登記使用www.moumou.org所提供的任何服務，閣下必須請其家長／監護人代為登記；而該未成年人士到本網站所瀏覽之一切內容，則其代登記之家長／監護人有義務負責助其分辨性質是否適合..."
這種 "有香港特色的blog culture" 主要是因為這裡把所有的東西視為資本, 所有在自己平台出現的東西都是自己的財產, 雖然生產者不是自己, 卻要控制其版權.
另外, 又為了保護自己, 把所有的責任都推給使用者. 這些商業性的網站, 以blog之名謀利, 卻破壞blog的文化和內涵, 這就是只有形式(form), 沒有實體(substance)的香港運作模式. 不過, 隨著blog在香港的普及, 相信這類掛羊頭賣狗肉的商業網站會越來越多, 大家多加提防.
建議大家多採用國外的網站去建立自己的平台, 如blogger.com.

電台與文字合併的blog
radio and text blog. arranged by date and rss function, etc. and it seems that they do have a "blog" section that encourage people to open account, but the copyrights belong to the company rather than the writers, according to their copyright statement, just like traditional newspapers. but of course people violate that all the time.
i also visited that radio blog station...
it seems like blog is so hot a name, that in hong kong the commerical people started to "use" it.
acutally, for some english blogs, it is commerical in a way, say a doctor, or business person will have a blog to attract business, yet, they are doing it in a good way as there will be information, informative news and other reference materials that users can take it for "free" (or under creative common rules, free for non-commerial use). this is healthy building of blogs in business terms, especially those blogs on health, people can rrs the blog and they get updated information of some medicines or their sickness related news.
or any other type of business that can be transformed to be information and sources.
this is business and yet it is good in which more information and knowledge is shared.
for that radio/text station, it is just another purely business-orienated radio station trying to use the "conventional" radio type of thoughts in the "form" of blogs or technicaly supported by blogging tools for the easy publicatinos on web platform, with the format of dates/categories for easy data storing and archive, etc...
NOTHING more than that.
it is still a blog, but it has no positive meaning of blogs to a cutlure. it lacks the spirits how and why blogs started in the beginning, like what even williams (http://www.evhead.com/2004/10/next.asp)
started blogger.com (now changed to blobspot after google bougth them) by 3 persons and provides freeware for all.
it is an important part of open sources and the politics of the common.
just so happen i wrote a blog on this yesteryday, with reference from a friends' blog, he wrote a very good article about why we should stop using IE and support firefox which is an open sourse flatform...
