政府以財赤為名，不惜向漂泊在港、辛辛苦苦工作去照顧家鄉親人的外傭開刀，開徵外傭培訓稅，並削減外傭的最低工資400元。
如果你是勞工：工資保障是勞工的基本權利！外傭的最低工資現是3270元，每天大都工作15-18個小時，平均每個小時只有7元，水平之低根本就有違勞工的尊嚴，作為勞工的一份子，我們應該反對開徵外傭培訓稅！
要抵抗掌權者無理的剝削，要所有勞工基層都團結一致，正如外傭經常支持我們的抗爭一樣。
如果你是婦女：
在港工作的外傭家務助理，十居其九都是女性。她們被剝削，是婦女貧窮化表現，亦是發展中國家婦女為了糊口而付出的沉重代價。作為婦女，我們豈能坐視這種剝削，我們應該反對開徵外傭培訓稅！
如果你是社會的一份子：
外傭是廣大基層的一部份，亦是被邊緣化的一群，語言的障礙偶爾會令我們較少溝通，但不能止我們對公義的追求，面對政府這種恃強凌弱的做法，本著基層互助的精神，我們應該反對開徵外傭培訓稅！

Open Letter to Employers
Dear friends,
Attached, please find our open letter to employers
regarding our campaign to bring the minimum wage back to its previous level at HK$3,670
and the abolition of the levy.
The objective of this letter is to get the support of our employers for the campaign.
We hope that throughthis letter,
they will see us as reasonable people and someone they canunite with specially in their interest to fight the levy.
Please pass on this letter to employers and other migrant workers for them topass on to their employers.
You can also reproduce this for massdistribution and publication.
We are also inviting you and your group-members to be with us on February 6, Sunday at 12:00 noon inChater Garden.
Our procession will start at 2:00 PM and will proceed tothe Central Government Offices (CGO).
We hope that the same intensity and unity that
we have achieved in our historic 12,000-strongprotest march in February 2003 can be repeated,
this time, not toshield our selves from the attack of a wage cut but to advance our juststruggle for a wage increase.
Meanwhile, we are also seeking your financial support for this campaign.
We will be needing resourcesfor reproduction of statements/flyers, posters, banners, batteries formegaphones, bamboo poles, placards
