少數族裔參加社區實踐計劃總結活動

2012年9月16日，我們的石硤尾創意藝術中心社區實踐計劃2012年7至9月總結活動日假深水埗國際社會服務社舉行。來自南方民主同盟的尼泊爾女孩 Nisam Chemjong 為大家表演 Limbu 民族舞蹈，而來自菲律賓、印尼、剛果及尼泊爾等地的朋友更與其他參加者載歌載舞，參加短劇演出。

他們亦為參加者預備了食材手工藝坊，及尼泊爾傳統小食 Furandana。全場近一百名參加者，大家都能盡興而歸。是次工作坊由深水埗區議會贊助、深水埗關注貧窮及少數族裔事務小組主辦及社區文化發展中心承辨。

Palungwa is belonged to Limbu people. They are living in Taplejung District which is in the eastern part of Limbuwan.

Limbu Clans have been living in Nepal for more than 2500 years. Many Limbu people have joined the Gurkhas Army. Because of that, you can find Limbu people all round the world nowadays.

In Hong Kong, there are Limbu people. Some of them operate salons, stores and food shops in the city. Some of them become construction workers, drivers and security guards.

繽紛色彩耀香江已順利完成

＜繽紛色彩耀香江＞是由義務工作發展局所統籌的2010國際義工日-匯豐愛心傳城義工大行動的其中一個贊助項目，該項目是由香港社區發展網絡主辦。

2011年2月內，香港社區發展網絡的職員及義工共探訪了200個少數族裔家庭，送上由義務工作發展局及匯豐銀行提供的心意包。在受訪者家中，職員及義工了解他們的生活，互相學習大家的語言。有些受訪者及義工更加插了小型表演，與眾同樂。

第五屆香港家庭選舉已完滿結束

由基督教協基會社會服務部舉辦的第五屆香港家庭選舉，已完滿結束。該頒獎典禮將於2011年3月27日星期日，假將軍澳香港知專學院舉行。屆時，民政事務局副局長許曉暉、香港大學社會工作及社會行政學系系主任曾潔雯博士及基督教協基會監督胡傑興牧師將會蒞臨主禮。

當中，由香港社區發展網絡總幹事龍緯汶提名的 Limbu Tikaram 家庭亦獲得獎項。龍緯汶為少數族裔家庭能夠獲獎，表示高興。龍緯汶認為，獲獎對予少數族裔在香港生活所付出的努力，作出了正面的肯定。

尼泊爾嬰兒斷奶儀式在港舉行

2010年2月6日晚上8時，6個月大的尼泊爾嬰兒 Kusuk Hang Palungwa 的斷奶儀式，假香港佐敦印度會所舉行。

Palungwa 是 Limbu 氏族的一個分支，而當天晚上，超過200名 Palungwa 及 Limbu 的族人及其家庭的朋友，都親來道賀。南方民主同盟主席龍緯汶，亦被邀請出席致賀。

大家按次將米飯送在 Kusuk Hang Palungwa 的額頭上，及餵他吃一點米飯，並說出祝賀的語句。其父親 Dil Bahadur Palungwa、其母親 Limbu Bimala及其兄 Bidip Palungwa，對眾多親友來賀，表示感謝。大家都祝願 Kusuk Hang Palungwa 能夠快高長大，身體健康。
