「我行，我歌，我創造——中國婦女書寫和平」活動

為加強婦女及民間公益團體之間的交流，推動廣義的和平理念，2010 年6月16日至21日，將在香港舉辦為期一周的“我行，我歌，我創造——中國婦女書寫和平”活動。
本活動由嶺南大學及瑞士駐香港總領事館合辦，由“全球和平婦女聯會中國辦事處” 協辦，舉行以生態生計生活為主題的和平婦女圖片展。展覽地點為嶺南大學屯門校園的大學藝術廊，展期為2010 年6月16日至21日（9am-5pm）。6月19號週六下午2時到7時將舉行“和平婦女展覽揭幕儀式暨中國婦女書寫和平影片首映和公開論壇”。 6月20日下午3時到6時，中國大陸的6位和平婦女將以“中國環境保護行動的策略與成就”及“與中國弱勢群體共事的策略與成就”為主題，與公眾對話。6月18日下午6時半到8時，有“和平婦女茶話會——中國飲食健康文化”的講座。
展覽期間還有系列義賣活動，現場能夠看到很多未能到港的和平婦女的書籍及傳統手工藝品，為大家展現出豐富多彩的文化。
參加此次活動的和平婦女包括：在山西從事十多年開髮式扶貧的北京老知青程煒，二十多年治理5千公頃沙漠的內蒙的殷玉珍，湖北襄樊市環保協會——“綠色漢江”的發起人運建立，從事茶樹花資源研究開發26年的徐紀英，北京綠家園環境科學研究中心發起人汪永晨，為服刑人員子女提供教育、生活服務的“太陽村”的發起人張淑琴。
“全球和平婦女聯會”是從2005年全球千名婦女聯合爭評諾貝爾和平獎開始，發展成來自全球各個不同領域為人類安全工作的婦女組建起來的國際婦女網路，聯合力量把和平婦女的知識和帶頭作用引入政府決策舞臺、介入民間運動、推動公眾參與。目標是在全球範圍推進婦女和平工作的聯繫，加強婦女和平工作的力度, 在全球形成一個有力量、 跨領域的婦女和平運動。

“I act, I sing, I create—Chinese women writing peace”

In order to strengthen the exchange between women and civil organizations and to promote the general idea of peace, an event will be held in Hong Kong which is themed as “I Act, I Sing, I Create -- Chinese Women Writing Peace”.
A “PeaceWomen Exhibition” with the theme on “Ecology and Livelihood” will be co-organized by Lingnan University and the Consulate General of Switzerland in Hong Kong, supported by the China office of PeaceWomen Across the Globe Association, in the Tuen Mun Campus, Lingnan University, Hong Kong. It will last for one week on June 16-June 21, 2010 (9am to 5am). On June 19, 2:00-7:00pm, the Opening Ceremony of PeaceWomen Exhibition, Inaugural Screening of two documentary films, and a public forum will be held. On June 20, 3:00-6:00pm, 6 PeaceWomen from mainland China will speak to the public on strategies and achievements of environmental action in China and working with marginalized groups in China. On June 18, 6:30-8:00pm, there will be a seminar on “Tea with peacewomen: A dialogue on the Chinese Culture of Food and Health”
There will also be a variety of goods for charity sale in this event, being different kinds of books and traditional handicrafts from mainland China that are made by PeaceWomen or their communities which will illustrate the colourful cultures of China to visitors.
The PeaceWomen who will participate in this event are: Cheng Wei, who started her poverty alleviation activities in a remote village in Shanxi Province, China; Yin Yuzhen, who has planted 5000 hectares of trees in the vast desert in Inner Mongolia for more than 20 years; Xu Jiying, who has devoted more than 26 years in the study of the uses of tea flowers; Wang Yongchen, the founder of Beijing Green Earth Volunteers Organization; Zhang Shuqin, who has since 1994 been aiding unattended minor children of prisoners.
“PeaceWomen Across the Globe Association” originated from a historic nomination made to the Nobel Peace Committee. It was a collective nomination of 1000 women working for peace. Now it has developed into an international network of women working in different fields of human security in the North and South, who are joining forces to bring the knowledge and leadership of PeaceWomen to official decision-making arenas and to the public’s attention, and thus promote public participation. Our goal is to facilitate connections and strengthen women's peace efforts around the globe so that a strong, cross-sectoral and global women's peace movement will emerge.
This event will be held in Lingnan University Art Gallery. Admission is free to the public. People from different fields and organizations are welcome to all the related activities.
